Visited Patisserie Valerie in Carlisle for a late lunch with a friend. The staff were friendly and checked in on us a couple of times, though service was a little slow as it got busier. My sandwich was fresh and tasty, and the cakes looked great—hard to choose just one! There was a slight mix-up with our drinks, but someone sorted it quickly. Would visit again.
